Fans of Britney Spears who have been waiting to see her on stage again might be disappointed to hear this but the singer has no plans of returning to the stage not even when the COVID-19 pandemic will have become a thing of the past! However, there is a way she would perform again and that has a lot to do with her father, Jamie Spears being removed from being her conservator!

Britney Spears’ lawyer explained that the star will not hit the stage for as long as her dad is still in charge of her career and her personal life.

This is what the legal representative reportedly told a judge during a hearing in Los Angeles that took place earlier today!

The said hearing was meant to determine whether or not Jamie will remain the co-conservator of his own daughter, as per Us Weekly.

Not only that but, the attorney even went as far as to claim that Britney is afraid of her father!

Samuel D. Ingham III apparently told the judge that ‘My client has informed me she is afraid of her father. She also stated she will not perform as long as her father is in charge of her career. We are really at a crossroads.’

Us Weekly also reported that Jamie’s lawyer, Vivian Lee Thoreen slammed the claims and argued that Britney’s lawyer had no even allowed the father to speak with his daughter in person.

The court meeting ended with the judge ruling that Jamie Spears will continue to serve as Britney’s co-conservator for the time being, moving the hearing to another date.

This seems to be the update on Britney Spears’ legal battle to get her dad removed as her conservator.

It comes after she also filed the paperwork in which the pop star asked for the private equity firm Bessemer Trust Company to remain ‘the sole conservator of her estate.’
