Descendants 3 honored the late Cameron Boyce with an emotional video tribute during the film’s premiere on Friday night. The television movie franchise is ending following Boyce’s shocking death almost one month ago.
There were several photos and video montages of the actor during his years on the Disney Channel. Boyce played Cruella de Vil’s son Carlos in all three installments of the Descendants films.
The two-minute message is chock-full of emotional moments featuring the actor. It rightfully played out at the end of the film’s premiere making it goodbye to Boyce, the characters and franchise so many loved.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama even makes an appearance in the footage. She was a guest star on Boyce’s show Jessie. The actor can be heard happily stating how he made the iconic woman laugh when he hugged her.
Cast members and friends of Boyce also flooded social media with behind the scenes pictures from Descendants 3 featuring the young man.
“Core four. forever and for always,” his good friend Sofia Carson posted alongside a picture of her, Boyce, Dove Cameron, and Booboo Stewart together.
“Descendants 3 Tomorrow is the day. There aren’t enough ways to say, ‘thank you’ that measure up to the amount of love you have all shown us and our movies. Tomorrow will be an emotional day for a lot of you, and that’s okay. Thank you for all of the love you have shared and continue to share,” wrote Stewart along with a cool photo of the cast’s hands intertwined.
