Nick Lachey dished all about his infamous date with Kim Kardashian, his former reality TV show The Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica and his wife Vanessa this week
The 98 Degrees frontman stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen the other night. He took several trips down memory lane. Callers had questions about his past, as well as Nick’s happy life these days with his lovely family.
First up was a caller who asked Nick if he regretted doing The Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. The answer is no. Despite all the drama and his marriage to Jessica Simpson ending, the singer is grateful for his time on the show. It opened up a whole new fan base for him.

However, the one thing Nick and Vanessa dislike is when fans come up to them and quote the reality TV show. The boy bander is amazed at how people are still interested in the MTV show. It has been off the air for 15 years, after all.
Another caller wanted to know if Nick ever talked to his ex-Kim Kardashian. He was quick to clarify she was not his ex-girlfriend. They went on one date back in the day.
“I think we went on one date together. We went to see The Da Vinci Code. She left about halfway through and went to the restroom, and then shockingly, there were 25 paparazzi when we left the theater. I think there were other things in play on our little rendezvous. Couldn’t be a nicer girl. We had a great time. But no, we don’t keep in touch anymore, to answer your question,” Nick said.
Last but not least, Nick was asked if his lovely wife Vanessa knew any 98 Degrees songs. The question was prompted because Jessica Biel recently admitted she does not know any NSYNC songs. Even though her husband Justin Timberlake was in the band.
“She does now! She will be the first to say that she was not a fan of 98 Degrees. She was more in the NSYNC groupie category. So unlike Jessica Biel, she knew every NSYNC song but knew none of our songs,” he replied.
Yes, it appears Vanessa Lachey was an NSYNC song back during the boy band battles of the ’90s and early 2000s. Today though, the mom of three is all about 98 Degrees and her handsome husband of eight years.
